The National Professional Anglers Association (NPAA) announced the following today.

Fellow Central Region Area 7 Fishing Lead Steve Klubertanz and I will be presenting at the NPAA Annual Conference which has been a “can’t miss” event since 2009. The annual conference is held the first full weekend in January each year – it’s an unmatched opportunity to learn about the business side of the sport and to network with pro anglers who have had success on and off the water.

The conference consists of educational breakout sessions on topics like taxes, insurance, social media trends and sponsor relations, with up-to-date, in-depth looks into each. Combine the opportunity to learn with the ability to network with fishing industry executives and other anglers, and you get an event that is unmatched in the fishing business all at a price that is half of what you would expect to pay.  For more details regarding this conference  visit https://npaa.net/nppa-annual-conference/

This is a tremendous opportunity for BSA Fishing Programs to network and partner with Anglers in serving our Scouts.  Looking forward to our 2018 fishing programs where together, we hope to Hook many Scouts on the sport of Fishing, and making many First Catch experiences for our Scouts and their families.  Through outstanding outdoor program offerings, we hope to recruit and retain more Scouts and assist in achieving the aims of Scouting!

Please consider making similar presentations to your local Fishing Clubs.  There are plenty of Anglers out there, we need to get them on the line and into the boat, and assist in our efforts to; #DELIVERTHEPROMISE.  #DARETODO!  #FISHON!

If you would like assistance in making this happen, please contact your Regional Fishing Chairman and or Area Fishing Lead.

Wishing us all tight lines and full nets in 2018!
